  • In early, ongoing, and meaningful engagement.
  • It is important to understand the needs of all the communities we serve.
  • Our employees must reflect the population in which we operate.
  • In developing positive and mutually beneficial commercial relationships with local Indigenous suppliers and contractors.
  • That Canada’s Indigenous population has always held an essential role in the social and economic growth and success of our country.

Our Commitment

We strive to support positive relationships with our clients across Canada and are committed to effectively engaging with Indigenous communities.

When we engage with Indigenous communities, we will prioritize initiatives and organizations that contribute to the sustainable economic and social development of those communities. Our new engagement practices will include hands-on training programs, cultural community investment, Indigenous business development, and employment capacity building that would demonstrate our firm commitment to Canada’s Indigenous people.

We have developed policies, protocols, and strategies to engage Indigenous communities and their leadership on community economic and social development issues. As a socially responsible corporate citizen, we will work together to define common priorities and prepare Indigenous communities for participation in major projects including focused skills development and training. We will encourage and support participation of Indigenous businesses. Our corporate policies for inclusion, diversity and the environment will acknowledge and respect Indigenous history and culture.
